HAND ME DOWNS

I never realized how much I wear dresses. They are just so easy especially with this heat wave!

I got these amazing vintage cowboy boots from my aunt who got them from her father (my grand-pop). They were knee-high + I cut them to the ankles!

Wearing: Grey Dog sunnies / Nasty Gal tunic / vintage cowboy boots / hand me down bag
I wore this outfit a couple weeks ago to run errands for my family vacation to South Carolina. The dress was so comfy that I decided to wear it on the road. The second to last picture was taken when we stopped at Cracker Barrel just an hour outside of Myrtle Beach. Every time I visit it reminds me of when me, my sister and cousin used to go with my grandparents! Those were + are still are some of the best times of my life. xx

TA LULA

Wearing- thrift vest here / Chicwish skirt similar and similar / Zara heels / Grey Dog sunnies
So there's nothing like a pair of pointed toes heels + a tulle skirt to make you feel all girly. This is not a practical outfit for my daily life. Most morning I'm reaching for the first dress I see in my closet and a comfy pair of flats + dashing to the door for my grueling commute to work or school. Yikes, I know I'm back in school + this quarter is gonna be a toughy but in light of my new workload I intend to be more consistent with my blog + etsy store updates. My goal is to be posting at least 3x a week + adding new merchandise to Allie Tutu at least 2x a month. I'm going to do it, no excuses! Do you guys have any goals for this month? xx

POLKA DOT NAVY

Wearing- Fancy Treehouse dress / Zara flats similar / Polo bag (soon on Allie Tutu) / Grey Dog sunnies

First, I just want to say that I am totally smitten with this Ruby Woo lipstick. For years I thought that I couldn't pull off red lips but apparently it was the type of lipstick not the actual shade. I would always try those dirt cheap ones from the drug store + they would either be too glossy or fade within the hour. Recently I went to MAC + the artist told me to try on Ruby Woo or Russian Red. I ended up purchasing both but my favorite is the Ruby + look it goes perfectly with this navy blue dress!!

Since I work in an office environment I have to keep it pretty simple during the week. I usually just grab a dress + a pair of flats so I can be comfortable, especially since my commute is over an hour (ugh). This polka dress is from Fancy Treehouse, a blog + store run by the ever so fun Coury Combs. Make sure you head over to her blog + check out all the new items she has in store!  As for this cute little cross-body, its Polo + I scored it from my go-to thrift store some time ago. It sort of compares to this Cambridge Satchel from ModCloth that I first saw from a post on Flashes of Style. It's simply adorbs + will probably hit my etsy store very soon since I've been in a purging mood these days!

FEELING GIRLY

Wearing- Vintage vest similar / Forever 21 dress similar and similar / Banana Republic shoes / ZeroUV sunnies

I really don't wear too much denim, if any at all, with the exception of my vintage jacket from junior   high school. I spotted this cute vest at a consignment shop in Eastern Market and just couldn't part without it. It was a perfect addition to my wardrobe for a few short hours + is now on its way to a new home after being purchased from my little etsy store, Allie Tutu. I'm sure going to miss it but then again like I said, I hardly wear denim accept for my cute pooh jacket that I wore here

EASY BREEZY

Wearing: Dress- Marshalls / Denim- old / Loafer- Grey Dog / Purse- Fendi

Happy fourth! I am currently hiding away in South Carolina my family. Making the best of a rainy day we went to the boardwalk and found this cute little new/used shop. There were many cute things but they had a collection of vintage earrings like I've never quite seen. I plan to go back before I leave, I just wasn't that into shopping on that day, blame it on the rain!

THE LAST HURRAH

SheInside coat, thrifted blazer, fur stole + Coach handbag, HM top, Lily White skirt, Etienne Aigner loafers, Polo sunnies.
Spring is here and I couldn't be happier to get out of these heavy knits + coats and into flowy dresses, crop tops + sandals. This weekend I ventured to DC to enjoy the lovely weather and cherry blossom with my boyfriend.I got a little side tracked when I found a Zara + HM, so we kind of missed the parade. We got to the festival and  folk were running around dressed in anime characters eating chicken on a stick. It totally reminded me of junior high when me and my friends we obssessed with Sailor Moon. Ahhh, feels like a century ago!! Anyways, school is kicking my butt and I like it but I can't wait to finish so that I can get work :)
